Samuel,

Can you please share your research with me. My Great great grandfather was James Sales Chesser b. 1833. I have reason to believe that his father was Tennsion and his mother was Martha but I can't confirm it. I've been looking for more information. My e-mail is davidgarrett69@gmail.com

Does anyone have any info about Tennison Chesser/cheshire who died in darlington dist in 1804 intestate? I believe he had 5 children, ( Tennison, William, John,James and mary) but no mention of a wife. His inventory was read at the Back Swamp Baptist church by James Coleman, Minister, who also married Tennison Chesser to Martha House/ Hause about 1812. Is this the Tennison who was court martialed in 1778 and discharged from the 1st regt. of the South Carolina Line? He enlisted in 1775 in Charlston as a foot soldier.
