<description>&#60;p&#62;Hello,&#60;br /&#62;
I am searching for information about George Hemeter/Hamiter. He was born in SC in 1785, according to the 1850 Census, AL, Marion County. He married Elizabeth Crotwell. Both George Hemetor (spelled this way )and George Crotwell are in the 1820 Federal Census for Lexington, County. George Hemetor was my husband's gggg-grandfather. There is a lot of research on the Hamiter/Hameter families, but for some reason I can't get the link right from THIS George Hamiter/Hemeter to the rest of the Hamiters/Hameters. Any info, perhaps land or marriage records, would be much appreciated. Best, C. Clark
