My father and father both recently passed away and in going through Daddy's records we discovered he was married in 1948 to Georgia Taylor. They were divorced in 1951 in Cook County, IL just prior to his marrying my Mother. Dad's name was Robert Odus Ridgill (son of James Lee and Ruth Ridgill). Trying to locate Georgia Taylor Ridgill. If you can help please advise.

Many thanks!

In April of 1919 John R Thames age 46 obtained a license to marry Lilly Thames age 30. They both list their residence as Davis Station. I am looking for the parents of Lilly Thames and have not been able to find them. John was the son of Richard Thames and Sarah June. John and Lilly had the following children: Lillie Eleanor abt 1920; Norma Thames abt 1921; Amy Thames about 1923 and Doris Gertrude Thames in 1928. If anyone could help me identify Lilly Thames parents I would be very grateful.

Anyone have information concerning Davis Families in Old Sumter Distric/Clarendon County from early 1800s - early 1900s? Family information is hard to verify so far. If you have information concerning a Isaac J. Davis/or Isaac I. Davis who was born abt 1800 (possibly in VA according to 1850 census), married to Susan/Susannah. 1860 Census shows either I.J or J.J Davis as his name, living with Susannah in Clarendon, Packsville Postal Office. Family info states that part of larger Davis family in Manning, possibly related to a Col. Davis, or C. William (Willie) Davis who was a prominent attorney. Any help is appreciated!
